Federal government launches summer job program for students
It’s high time that Provincial & Federal Governments have programs in place to fund, loan, grant and give busaries to older workers in the Age groups of between 40 years to retirement age.
If workers are open for learning, retraining and still want to work, then it’s mandatory to help people. Besides having programs only for younger workers is age discrimination – plain and simple.
And the new E.I. program is proof of this discrimination based on age. Hey, you changed and made the laws to force people, now deal with it.
All people should have the opportunities to change their lives in positive directions with the help of governments if governments expect them to work and contribute to society.
And you don’t want me to go down the road on another related discussion involving moral/ethical reasons. Cause it’s gonna knock your socks off.
