Financial Post – The latest U.S. foreclosure horror story: Curse of the zombie title

Like horrific divorce laws, foreclosure laws need to be revamped. Yes people make stupid mistakes – they want more money to raise their quality of Life standards and get in over their heads with greedy financial institutions that takes advantage of them.

Case in point – former HouseHold Finance now aka HSBC Finance who tried to sweep our former properties from us while I was trying to put them back on their feet from the City of Ottawa’s intentional acts of ruining us financially and having us going bankrupt.

So, with that little story said… yeah it could go on longer, but heck I’ll reserve it for the Class Action Lawsuits down the road, it’s time to have another look at Mortgage rules.

If banks can threaten evictions on foreclosures, only to come back after Judges rubber stamp them in courts without so much as a comment or word on the paperwork because of the sheer volume of them and then only to come back and have the banks dump these foreclosed properties back on the original owners once they are held liable to cities/towns for whatever – then that’s all wrong.

Everything’s wrong about this – whatever angle you take looking in at this problem, it needs a new way of doing business. Cause the old one is broken. To have millions of Americans have their houses taken from them under their feet only to have Canadians come in and buy back these multiple properties even speaks to the unconscionable moral attitudes of banks and Canadians or foreigns doing this. Taking advantage of people when they are down doesn’t help the situation. It increases crime, desperate acts of survival and a slide down to hell. Not only that, but you’ve now ingrained and taught many small innocent children how to live in a screwed up world and to do the same when they grow up.

I don’t call that an American Dream at all – call it what you will, but in my opinion – it’s time for another moral compass that’s pointing in 180 degrees in the opposite direction.

And don’t forget this – if you think this doesn’t affect someone on the other side of the world, then you had better wake up and smell the roses. Cause when you’re Karma catches up with you and you end up there someday, it ain’t gonna be funny living in Hell.
