Close very close. Indeed the Brain and definitely the Mind itself are Universes unto themselves.

The Mind is definitely influenced by both the physical structure of the Brain itself and the Body that houses that Brain and keeps it alive.

So the Root Source of having and going towards enlightenment is the quality of the Body itself and it’s surrounding environment.

The biggest & most important impact is FOOD, BEVERAGES, CHEMICALS on the body. It preparation, quality and root source(local). It is the common denominator for every human being on the planet.

If the temple is dirty, unclean, poorly treated and neglected out of ignorance then Karma catches up with you very quickly in making poor decisions that leads you into trouble.

On the other hand if you are handed a poor quality of genetic information, then the best you can do is to stay simple within the boundaries of your limits and play out that hand by remembering what matters most – health first.

For most of us, yep me too still – we’re on automatic pilot because our Subconscious processes are Dominant traits. They are basic instincts built into us over millenniums and eons of evolution. That is most evident in our being ignorant most of the time and the differences expressed in the discrimination of our personal interactions on a daily basis. It’s truly hard to keep a compassionate heart in the face of adversity when things and people are putting you down and actually trying to do you in. For most people it’s insurmountable – and that is the distinct difference between humans and animals. We have the capacity to leap beyond complex emotional responses and use logic and reasoning to temper our built-in reactions. No small feat that we can turn around negative emotions into positive ones by using moral/ethical intent and purpose to fashion ourselves into images of our Creator and reflected image of the Universe here on Earth.

Our biggest personal obstacles resides in Mastering our Subconscious. We all have heard and seen Evangelical Passionate Charismatic people espouse what it takes to reach Nirvana here on Earth and to enter Heaven. All these are techniques based and focused on positive qualities – no doubt good. However what drives all of this is the constant negative excess and power of the Subconscious mind. Neglecting it and just merely doing half the Brain and Mind will not wish it away. In fact I am quite amazed at myself many at times when I wonder why I did such and such a thing, only to my own amazement that I was setting myself up for something down the road when it came time to add the pieces of the puzzle together to form a cohesive picture of what had happened in time.

That’s the trick – journal the heck out of everything to give you a sense of what’s going on behind the scenes in your own mind. In the long run you’ll see the patterns and decipher the clues. And yes it takes sometimes alot of time to figure the pieces out because the picture is so big. What doesn’t make sense now is just a simple Baseline Reference clue and dot of the whole picture. Once you have enough dots, then connecting them and painting the picture becomes the obvious part.

Hey, use whatever works for you. Nothing is taboo unless you’re breaking the law and going down immoral/unethical routes.

Powerful stuff for sure and some people from the outside maybe able to help to point out the obvious or give you that kick start. Whatever transpires, remember you just didn’t fall into that body by accident – it was a choice even if subconscious. If you believe in eternal Life after death, then you can be guaranteed that you just didn’t pop up from nothing into that body of yours all of a sudden just now. You’ve been around the block more than once and you can’t remember – don’t want to remember – whatever.

It’s a process… so patience is the most important thing to remember. Don’t expect instant enlighten and Buddha-hood like the lotteries. This is gonna take work and you yourselves will have to find the motivation, passion and reason to put up with all the yucky things that it takes to shed the old you and find your place in a new reality. It’s called Mastering your own Personal NRGY to Master your own Destiny. No one can do that for you anymore than being born or dying in your place. I didn’t say it would be easy, but the reward of Immortality and Complete Consciousness is absolute exhilaration is definitely an OMGOD experience once you get it.
