Mr. Murphy once again you have hit the nail on the head. While I don’t like to blast politicians because they take on jobs that are hopelessly insane with promises left unfulfilled and broken because of gotcha yous, it’s really a thankless job even if you can manage to fill at least one promise.

However there is always room for improvement. Premier Dalton McGuinty’s downfall was his birthdate. I believe 1955 if memory serves me correct. Full of Fire, passionate and exuberant in lofty goals. Looks good on paper, but once burnt to a crisp little in the way of substance and a pile of ashes. Not his fault, that was the card he was handed and chose. His personal governance qualities would have done much better back in the mid ’90’s and Jean Chretien now. But as they say – C’est la Danse de la Vie.

Le’ts not forget and as a native born Quebecer, the corrupt government of Jean Charest. Who himself plans an exit strategy right to a law firm to protect himself form the fallout of his years in power. The law firm almost needs to be taught a lesson with a wholesale forfeiture of it’s practicing licenses for agreeing to harbor him in the shadows of it’s business.

Then comes FAT CAT City – as much as I personally like Mayor Jim Watson – he was a puppet installed in the office of the chair of Mayor of the City of Ottawa on my account. Trading places with Bob Charelli doing the musical chair thing between Ottawa and Toronto didn’t even raise an eyebrow in the public’s mind, yet caught my attention for it’s attempt to pull a fast one. Can’t fool all the people all of the time. Especially this one – savy !

Then there’s poor Mr. Harper. Sad to say, but he’s got a lot of secrets he’s hanging on too and as much as I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, he needs to air it out with a shrink/doc/whatever. It’ll be good for his soul/body and mind. Too much excess and it’ll kill him if he doesn’t deal with the inside stuff. I don’t envy his position at all. Health issues will start to dominate and impinge on his ability to make good decisions for the country. At the very least, it’ll cut his lifespan short. Anyways it’s a matter of time – get ready for all the juicy details cause one way or another it’ll have to come out – hopefully not by lost of self control and explosion. The longer all the secret stuff is held in the bigger the cost.

Now where does that leave us…. I’ll let you call it.
