Employment insurance overhaul to take effect Jan. 6, Finley announces
Okay been waiting for this a good while. Good changes are coming. Bad news – wrong to force people to do things they don’t want to do.
First of all, if EI is compulsory payments into a program, people have choices – not slavery.
Revise the program and come up with another solution.
This sounds very much like the stupid Mike Harris government’s common sense stupid changes in Ontario that has left Ontario in a horrific mess.
And what – this is suppose to help.
Come up with better answers than forcing people in a democratic society. If you need to exercise rights to programs you pay into, then this is not the way.
