Democracy teaches everyone to assume responsibility for their own own security, respect & dignity of the person and others around them in their charge and care. Fundamental principle whether in a Western nation and even applies in Communist countries. Individual responsibility leading up to the whole.
Lost Love & Trust issues reign supreme. Constitutional Rights being the measure of the test between individual privacy and fiduciary duty of all professional in all domains to perform as required under Canadian & International Laws.
If you’re a doctor – follow the Hippocratic Oath, if a Police Officer, follow oath to sworn duty to serve and protect. If King/Queen/President/Prime Minister to treat all your citizens with respect, dignity and security.
This issue isn’t going away – in fact it’s now hitting the front burner because it’s been so prevalent and hidden the last good decade and half. And this isn’t a new phenomena – spies have been doing this for God know how long – without the cameras until electronics came about.
If you think you’re not being watched, tracked and recorded in some ethereal exotic database, keep pushing that head in the sandbox. Eventually you’ll hit dead bottom and will have to re-surface.
