Condos are the next big disaster scenario waiting to happen in the marketplace down the road. Oversupply, not enough generation x,y,z population to take up the slack on the glut of excess, shrinking and dying baby boomer fad, immigrants with large families unable to make use of them.
And absolutely insurmountable costs in repairs and renovations, up keep maintenance, taxes.
At this rate, it’ll be cheaper to move up to the Artic once the ice melts – Condos there will make much better sense. In all larger southern cities, prepare yourselves for Nortel style – easy come, easy gone investments. Ponzi scheme if you take your head out of the sandbox just long enough to see the bigger scope of what’s to come.
