Great concept that I was introduced to at Nortel Networks. Google is doing a great job and I’m sure others too. It’s a matter of making sure that others get the same recognition and that this information spreads out so that both companies and employees know how to interact in dignified ways and profit from it.

The good old days of industrialization are way long gone, time to ramp up to the 21st century.

Every business should embrace this simple concept. I’m positive that the feedback is many more times than the standard model of an office cubicle.

I’ll state it now for the record – The Office Cubicle is a DEAD END JOB just waiting to happen. You are a cow used for milking and will be until you’ve got no more to give. Then guess what – hasta la vista baby.

If you interview and are told you’ll be setup in an office cubicle – run for your Life in the opposite direction. You’ll first kill your spirit, lose your mind and finally die in body.

It’s not the way to treat human beings and animals for that matter. There’s such a thing as ethical treatment for animals, then there should be for humans.

In the meantime if you must, then plan your exit strategy pronto – if that means working from home and telecommuting then it is better than the alternate of being stripped of your sanity.

If you want to know what a Zombie looks like, then by all means remain seated. You’re bound to find out sooner or later.

Until things change, use your best judgement in making it work considering your personal circumstances.
