Ah the good old days – memories, memories, memories….. of ’96

Washington Post online – Ducking Google in search engines

Okay gonna take it for a spin…. I’ll let you know and give my 2 cents worth down the road. Clean interface for now. Good.

Memories of Google – hey where’s that coke machine ? Hope it’s not collecting dust !

Oh almost forgot the predecessor – ALTA VISTA on AIX platforms… ooooooohhh, yikes I’m starting to date myself.

I still say the search model algorithms are all wrong – no one’s using NRGY to make the searches so much more relevant and meaningful.

As it stands, it’s still a question of hit and miss !

Oh well, when someone’s ready to have a little chit chat, we can pen up a lucrative contract and I’ll help out. In the meantime, keep increasing CPU cores and RAM – you know brut force gets the job done eventually. We’re still at the Brawn stage, haven’t gone to the brains model yet. Oh sure, on a scale of 1 to 10, math algorithms are a slight notch faster, but still relys on the processing power of the hardware. Oh and don’t forget good old power requirements – silly old me almost forgetting about NRGY !

Say cheese – πŸ™‚

OMG I LOVE NRGY
