After listening to the video, it is obvious that Police Chief Rick Hanson is sincere in his explanations. As he pointed out very well, any homicide is a failure. I would like to just change that to a homicide is an indication of an exception that has been missed and needs correction within huge systems.

The onus of safety just doesn’t fall on Police Services in any city across the globe. Personal safety starts be being vigilante and pro-active the minute our own senses tells us that something isn’t right. If we put other priorities ahead of listening to our own intuition then we are inviting trouble to put it’s foot in the door and make us vulnerable. There are a multitude of services available to the public and women especially. The trick is to pound that message into people’s mindsets so they know where to turn.

I have to add here that if people expect total security, then it’ll go hand in hand with the expectation of giving up all notions of freedoms and rights in return for a police state and Big Brother intrusion. The choices are clear about how to step up to the plate and make sure that our rights & freedoms are Constitutionally protected and that the Police can still do their jobs well while we at least take a larger role in policing our own personal security. As it stands, the Police can’t and shouldn’t do it all. Time to make choices. Conscious Choices. Criticisms will and is not the answer.

For sure the death of that young girl is a tragedy for the mother and family. And for the other family as well of that young man who took the life of an innocent girl.

I will not give a discourse on the why and how this happened with an NRGY 101 course as to the Karma of it all. Let me just say that these types of situations will continue to happen until we understand the basic underlying principles of how NRGY works and put the 1 + 1 = 3.14(change) mentality in place instead of just looking for a statistical logical result of 2.

Criticism in this case warranted or not, isn’t going to help that young girl any longer. Doing something about it will. Learn from MADD and John Walsh from America’s Most Wanted. They instituted change that reverberates through North America. Time to think differently… Instead of separating everything into neat little boxes and ink in numbers to justify something, take differences and integrate them.

If you want my opinion on the solution keep reading, the answer will present itself down the road if nothing is done about it pro-actively till then.
