CNN online – Spotify study: Music more sexually arousing than touch

I agree, but let’s not forget that there is a whole spectrum of people with different needs depending on the wide variety of environmental upbringing and constitution.

Music is by far the easiest way to arouse a human by the memory connection. Smell would be next, then taste as being self evident within and by yourself. Then comes touch as a maternal extension of being physical. Last but not least is dancing which helps to relax and let all processes intuitively and naturally interact to form a final product within the body/mind/spirit connection. Quite magical when you get it. Touch nowadays is the hardest due to laws, but it is the most important one in my opinion. Re-inforcement of bonding between being born physically and with another person – normally being the case is our mothers. Extremely important to set precedence in terms of our own capacities to reach out and interact with the physical world around us.

Back to music – once you find your groove, in whatever works for you and you can baseline it and repeat it until it’s refined, then calling upon it at will is a piece of cake. Mine is DanceRadioGlobal.com along with D.I. Progressive & Vocal Music. Close racehorse – Celtic, Gregorian, New Age and Top Hits. Classical may do it, but I haven’t had the chance to try it out. Definitely piano as an instrumental piece is great too.

Of course the trick to all of this is to consciously work to be present and to work through blockages(ie -pain/pleasure brick walls). Once that’s achieved and done, then turning pain into pleasure is absolutely incredible as long as it’s not destructive There’s a very fine balance between what limit your own personal body/mind/spirit is willing to take and accept. It’s all a personal matter of Conscious Choice with intention and purpose towards the sacred. Anything else other than doing it just for fun & games leads to excess and harm. Playing is okay if it’s done with respect in sane and safe ways.

Just my humble opinion…. you’ll all have to decide for yourselves what works and what doesn’t – no one can tell you that until you’ve gone through processes and time being the teacher. One last caution – drugs are not the answer. They usually lead people to believe that the sky’s the limit and excess use brings on addictions that turns a positive experience of ecstasy into a journey into hell. If you can’t control yourselves with the smallest of mundane things in day to day Dance of Life, then my best suggestion is to use other methods to reach your goals.

Enough said.

UPDATE – SUNDAY OCTOBER 25

Noticed I missed 1 of the senses – SIGHT. That’s because I’m internally focused 99% of the time. Sight is the most obvious target for deceiving us day to day. Even to the point that it’s easy to fool ourselves more than ever. So, sight is both a gift and a burden. Knowing which one is the trick and that my friends is the true measure of a Master. Like Indiana Jones leap of faith in the third movie – Search for the Holy Grail, leaping into the unknown when our own eyes and senses is the hardest thing we can do in the Dance of Life. It’s a risk based activity and not for the faint of heart & courage to deal with it face to face.

It’s easier to fool ourselves into thinking that seeing is believing, but the systems in place actually subliminally re-in force that message to the point that we get into trouble more often than not. Case in point – subliminal daily advertising selling everything under the sun with a healthy dose of some young thing in a sexy outfit, suit or next to nothing on.

With that said, take your head out of the sandbox, put on the blindfolds and listen with all your other senses combined. Use only your eyesight when you have a co-hesive connected picture in your minds from all your combined senses to determine if they match. That’s where your gut & intuition comes in. Use it as your baseline reference, cause I’m willing to bet that it’s more accurate than everything else that’s trying to tell you otherwise.
