Federal confusion undermines no-fly list as security tool: spy watchdog
… “lack of clarity and absence of guidelines” ….
While I applaud increased vigilance and security protocols and measures put in place to protect the flying public and any potential terror security threats, my greatest concern is in the dis-connected way that measures are put in place.
In my opinion this has as much potential for a catastrophic incident as 911. Being clear on guidelines and quick responses reduces risks significantly. Right now as it stands, I would have to say in my opinion that the odds of an incident occurring are extremely high if everyone keeps pointing a finger elsewhere and passing the buck.
Get with it before something happens.
