Notice all these significant changes of late since I’ve moved to Calgary. My my ain’t Ottawa a kettle of fun and intrigue !

On the garbage issue, take Calgary’s lead. If reducing garbage pickup and going recycling route, put tons of City inspired public recycling containers in local neighborhoods for residents to cart there recyclables there if there is an over abundance of the stuff. If you need instructions – I’ll post online pics of the recycling containers at the local Safeway supermarket center in Calgary at the corner of 36 Ave NE & 32 St.

Think kids and Red Rocket carts – get the idea. Starts small and simple and grows in time with kids really buying into it, instead of nickel and diming taxpayers to death via Ottawa Water Tax bills.

Better than my solution of disposing it anywhere to avoid fees – I’ve got balls and enough is enough, being a former taxpayer. And if someone dares think it’s irresponsible, then let’s have a chat and I’ll outline the corruption at Ottawa City Hall with lobbying and whatnot.

The garbage issue has really gotten out of hand with the N.I.M.B.Y. mentality.

Someone’s profiting on the attitude instead of really caring about environmental issues.
