It’s easy to put blame here and there for all a series of convoluted missteps that led up to this problem. However, the owners here are just another cog in the wheel of how business goes at the speed of the global net connection.

An inquiry would only be more misspent to tell us exactly what we know today. People are over taxed, over burden and too much is expected from them in order to make things happen instantly and profit from it. Whether it’s owners, companies, unions or workers it boils down to money.

The only way to resolve this safely and in everyone’s interest is to double up or introduce real time systems that can be scrutinized every step of the way.

Other than that, I suggest we give oversight of all our industries to Americans who do a bang up job of policing us despite our best Canadian efforts to ignore common sense. If that’s what it takes, they have my vote to make sure things run smoothly and for safety reasons. We’re all connected anyways. No sense denying it.
