Hmmm, visions of Enron & Worldcom. Oops, what say you! World of excess & out of control greed – 2 companies with no accountability that lead us to insane Telecommunication rates especially in the data formats and high cellphone bills(remember the “good” old days of $15.00/month landline bills – gone, bye bye) and Enron with going into the stratosphere $$$/gallon – oops in Canada $$$$$$$$/litre pump prices. And ways to cope, right let’s see now, oh yes let’s use corn to cut pollution and put alcohol into our tanks. Yep, that’ll do it alright. Now corn costs more per dozen than it ever has. Oh, and that’s if you can find and buy it like before.

Okay down to the matter at hand.

We all want and need oil for fuel & NRGY to get around. Until something more sensible comes around, we’ll have to pay for it one way or another. Question is – — – drum roll please, who’s entitled to pull it out of the ground and get compensated for it.

And the Answer is – the property/homeowner – hands down, no discussion here. If a company is in business of making money, then pay for the resource responsibly. NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS ABOUT IT. It amounts to theft if you pull it out under any circumstances and law or no law, the rights belong to the owner of the property. Ditto minerals too. Law is clear on airspace. It applies to property too downwards. Same as international borders around the world. No discussion.

Better get with the ball people, cause change is coming. Clean up ethical conduct and act with moral convictions. I don’t care what it takes, pedal to the metal and start changing course.

Governments expect there taxes, companies expect their profits, people expect to be paid for what’s under their feet. Oh, and I guess that applies to anything solar and wind going upwards.
