I would agree it’s a huge problem. Last year while still living at 380 Murray Street and going out to buy my daily newspapers I would be accosted on a regular basis by people who wanted to sell me their phones for a few bucks.

Didn’t fall for the decoys and ruses, but the underlying problem is definitely selling phones from one person to another. Heck even exchanging them with one another is a problem.

So the moral of the story is don’t try to fool people into believing they can get away with murder by selling them fake phones setup to catch them doing something illegal. Go after legitimate targets that are in the criminal activity arenas of life.

Ditto for suitcase grannies, middle eastern men with laptops in coffee shops planted as decoys. I’ve seen more than you can shake a stick at with planted people around me. Dungeon included – 🙂
