Well I don’t know about Internet Explorer’s security issues at this present time.
I’ve been more a fan of using Google Chrome browser for the last good year to give it a test bed ride in real time.
However of late also in the last year and a half, people have been able to get into my computer operating system via several methods – Wi-Fi in my opinion, but also using backdoor access security lapses to gain control of my administrative permissions and change settings.
Just last night after logging off the net and putting my laptop in hibernation mode, this morning I wake up to find that I have access denied permission to change the date/time features on my laptop.
I’ve changed the time stamps in the last few days as a way to get around the slowdowns experienced on the Moblicity network at 10pm sharp.
Worked and network speed were much better though still as at the same normally slow speeds as in the past. However much better than snail mail speeds.
Anyways, the time stamp feature is not the only area of my laptop that has permissions denied. As an administrator, I should be able to configure the laptop in anyway that suites me. Not the case. Can’t disable features on the fly to tighten up security loopholes in my opinion. Something as simple as disabling PLUG N PLAY service – nada, not allowed. Others too, but too long to discuss.
Anyways, I’ll be reformatting the hard drive. In my opinion wiping it clean and starting a fresh is the best option to catch the culprits in this case and make a note of it. Ah, Sherlock Holmes would be proud.
