….. “Foxes and coyotes shed the tapeworm’s eggs in their feces, which can be eaten by small rodents such as mice or voles. Dogs can also come into contact with the feces or, in rare cases, eat the rodents. The dogs can then potentially infect their human owners.”…..
My question about animal to human transmission is this –
Wouldn’t cats be more susceptible of infecting their owners since they are more likely to be the ones to eat small rodents such as mice or voles ???
Just asking…. seems to be more likely than dogs eating small rodents.
