Well imagine that, maybe I’m in luck once again. Quick details, back at the time, I was going to have my nightly meals at Grace O’Mally on Merivale Rd @ Capilano. Grew up around the corner on Gilbey Drive and it was close to back home. Anyways the moral of the story is this. I was eating lots of chicken wings and Guinness beer(my favorite) on a regular basis after working on our properties. I was married then. Well lo and behold, everytime I was going to eat my wings and beer, yikes this lovely girl sitting nearby with a group of friends was just to my liking. The stupidest and worst part was that her group of friends knew I had a thing for her and were pushing her and making sure I noticed that it could work. She was just as obviously shy as me and we never crossed paths. My reluctance was my married status, which I wasn’t willing to put at stake for the kids sakes. But wow, she was another missed opportunity no doubt. Still sometimes wonder where she is as all other missed opportunities.
Maybe now being single and in Calgary, well let’s take a walk on the wild side and hit Melrose on 17th if the strike holds. In my case, lightning strikes a hell of alot more than once. Hit me !
