While I’m decompressing and enjoying my new found freedom… I woke up this morning realizing what’s wrong from a safety perspective.
Never, ever ever put a huge bandsaw in the extremely precarious proximity of an emergency and door entry/exit.
Sure receipe for injury or worst. As a co-worker found out about a week ago while working on the bandsaw. His injury while not a firsthand witness to it, but still close to him getting hurt – pressure to priduce(competetive compensation). Bad news for everyone, including owners.
