In my mind, whether right or wrong, if the police don’t have proper training facilities to make them into shining examples of honour & integrity, then everyone will suffer and cost the Province much more in litigation down the road.
Work out a compromise even for a small City that has invested itself in preparation for the future facilities.
Common sense works much better in the end, then just pulling the plug. Mental, physically, emotionally and certainly spiritually for the officers training there at some point in the future. It’s a wise investment when officers call actually make a call on the fly in a moment of heated passions and chaos between LIFE & DEATH.
Think wisely, act carefully and plan with respect & dignity for the security of all.
