Ottawa Citizen online article – Ottawa doctor explores use of well-known anesthetic to treat patients with serious depression

I’ll reserve commenting on this article for another day. The article merits further discussion once I feel I have better words to explain the exact mechanism of interaction between “K” and the Human Body/Brain(Mind)/Spirit.

For the moment all I can definitely say is that “K” diffuses tensions between antagonistic elements within the body/mind/spirit. When it acts as an “eraser” of one part of a pair of opposing elements of conflict, then tension is reduced or subdued as to reduce warring opposites. With no cries of war, then battles do not need to be fought. Unfortunately, because “K” is immediate in it’s effects and I consider an acute intervention to remedy a immediate need, it’s effects are short in length of time in nature. As with any other drug, dependency depends entirely on the over prescription and/or abuse by an individual. It can become a crutch to “mask” pain and so the body/mind/spirit may make connections to imitate how “K” acts in permanent ways if physical damage is done to brain cells(nerves). The human body is very resilient in rerouting connections with the brain given sufficient time. πŸ™‚ There are a few other secrets involved in the repair of brain damage, but one I am not ready to share due to it’s potential for abuse. I’m sorry, even if it means that it could be used for potential treatments in therapy.
