In the end the bottom line still holds true – cost as the mitigating and absolute arbitrator to a debate over End of Life(EoL) care as opposed to Dance of Life.
Okay which way this is solved is simple – let the body of the person decide which way it should go without any artificial outside measures acting upon it. The Spirit decides and makes the final call. This applies in the vast majority of all cases. And no – it’s not the 51% rule that is the majority. Majority defined as a consistent and agreed upon observable rule that sets a trend and Baseline Reference. Yeap you got it – it’ll take time to take new measures to come up with Baseline References. The sooner started the sooner we’ll have answers. And don’t forget Baseline References change in time…. Nothing is forever, well almost nothing when you count me out…. 🙂 🙂 🙂
As for a personal observation on this public matter, I believe in this case the 90 yr man would have been able to make a distinction between being imprisoned against his will and being imprisoned within his body. My humble opinion.
